- Flights: SAA & LAM (Mozambique Airlines) have daily flights between Johannesburg & Maputo , the duration of the flight is one hour. Charter flights daily to Vilanculos from Johannesburg International Airport, the duration of the flight is two hours.There are regular LAM flights to Inhambane,Nampula and Pemba.

- Other: It is recommended to arrange visas prior to departure. All other visitors require a visa, on arrival visas can be arranged in Maputo,Vilanculos & Pemba airport or the border post.

- South African: South African passport holders do not need visas.

- Local: The local curreny is the Metical.
|
- Other Accepted: SA Rand & US$ is widely accepted except in the north.

- Credit Card: Are only accepted in a few places.
